Darfur child

Daily watercolor painting #215
9x12 on arches coldpress
Today's painting goal was to record a response to the humanitarian issue of displaced persons in Darfur. Orange is a color that is used by supporter and outreach networks for Darfur.
Tomorrow marks 40 years since the assasination of Martin Luther King Jr. so I included a 2007 watercolor portrait which I referenced from several magazine photos.
