Today I was shook up to see a photograph on Andrew Sullivan's Daily Dish blog of a wounded child and I was compelled to paint a picture of a child wounded in the name of Jihad or any other war.
My goal from painting daily with watercolors is to sharpen my observation and memory skills so I can tell stories with my art work. Some themes here are Jewish and other religions and history, portraits, and compositions from recollections of Iowa landscapes and everyday observations.
