Today's painting goal was to use an interior setting as the backdrop for a narrative. The child creates the narrative of possibilities and the yellow hue lends a suggestion for night time.
My goal from painting daily with watercolors is to sharpen my observation and memory skills so I can tell stories with my art work. Some themes here are Jewish and other religions and history, portraits, and compositions from recollections of Iowa landscapes and everyday observations.
