Daily watercolor painting #206
3x4 on cold press
Today's painting goal was to develop an idea on paper. 2 hues, burnt sienna and paynes grey to convey dusk towards the east, then inverted painting became a snow plain.
My goal from painting daily with watercolors is to sharpen my observation and memory skills so I can tell stories with my art work. Some themes here are Jewish and other religions and history, portraits, and compositions from recollections of Iowa landscapes and everyday observations.
