Determined to make a landscape study on this bright windy day.

I was surprised at the deliberation required to "find a spot". The process felt like a scene from one of the old "silent films", trying to fix things in their place. Settled on using my car to block the strong wind and made a makeshift table.

Color and value principles were used to approach this scene. PAinting this was a substantial challenge.
