9x12 watercolor on 140lb Arches hotpress
A rapid pencil sketch traveling home after sunset was the reference for today's painting of these twin corn cribs built by the uncles and father of my late dear friend Milt, who always encouraged me to try and paint scenery.
My goal was to use deliberate bold washes of color for the shapes to depict this evening scene.
thanks for looking!
